Helpful tips for your apartment

Kitchen
1. Pour bleach down the drain of the sink 1 to 2 times a week to avoid bugs.
2. Do not use oven cleaner on the oven/stove. All ovens are self cleaning. If you need to do heavy cleaning you can use a scouring stone.
3. Use a cup of lemon juice in your garbage disposal once a month. It deodorizes the disposal and loosens up any debris inside the disposal.
4. Rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher to prevent food build up in the dishwasher.
5. Soft Scrub will remove all stains from the counter tops.
6. Do not flip the latch on the oven when it is on. If it is gets flipped over it will not open until the oven cools.

Living Room
1. Press the reset and test button on the smoke detector once a month.
2. Don’t turn off the switch in the hallway. It is the master power for the a/c unit.
